Itron is looking for an experienced recruiter to join our North America recruitment team.  This position will be located in our West Union, SC manufacturing facility.  In this role you will be responsible for the recruitment of supply chain and manufacturing (professional) positions.  You may also support the recruitment process for our product development teams.
Responsible for the full life cycle recruitment process from requisition request to new hire onboarding.  Works with hiring manager to understand requirements and open requisitions.  Determines appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions. Promotes the company image to candidates and external service providers. Sources and screens candidates to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. Prescreens and evaluates candidates against the job requirements. Documents candidate evaluation and interview process. Prepares and negotiates, in conjunction with HR and the hiring manager, new hire compensation packages. May provide performance feedback on all recruiting agencies/sources. May develop, support and maintain college recruiting, affirmative action and career development programs. May also assist with the immigration process and administration as a liaison with immigration attorneys.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a passion for recruiting and meeting company business needs
  • Manage workload in accordance to Talent Acquisition team metrics
  • Proven track record of managing and fulfilling a substantial req load
  • Ability to successfully build rapport with hiring managers and become a consultant to the business they support
  • Contact, source and screen to deliver the most qualified candidates
  • Experience working with recruiting tools and vendors.
  • Update ATS and candidate activities as they move through the recruitment process, including timely feedback and dispositions
  • Create and distribute reports for managers and supervisors
  • Manages work in a confidential manner, ensuring proprietary information is shared in an appropriate manner
Experience: This position requires 7+ years of related experience in a full life cycle recruiting role in a technology or manufacturing company

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Certification(s): PHR or recruitment certifications desired, but not required

Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
