Itron is looking for SharePoint Support Professionals to be part of our growing IT center in Bangalore, India. You will part of our global IT organization and will be joining a global, leading technology, remote support team responsible for resolving complex issues every day for internal customers. Itron IT provides support for all internal systems and applications issues in Itron.  IT Operations team is responsible for providing remote support, including end-user support, SharePoint and other business systems, collaboration tools and systems, networking and systems management among many other technical services. The support provided by this team will have a global reach and support all Itron thousands of employees. You will be part of Enterprise SharePoint team and support SharePoint, OneDrive and other Microsoft tools and services.

 

Responsibilities:


Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing excellence in customer service support, diagnosis, replication, resolving SharePoint and Office 365 issues of simple, complex and critical service requests. The focus of this position is to provide customer service on a technical and functional level and to ultimately drive complete and total resolution of each issue reported by Itron employees and users of SharePoint, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, PowerApps, and MS Flow.
• This role will provide on-going operational support for the SharePoint environments, including Change Management, Incident Management, Implementation, Service Request, Operations Management, Problem Management, and Delivery Management.
• Support end users with SharePoint and OneDrive issues, questions and requests.
• Provide On-Call support.
• Support Office 365 capabilities including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, PowerApps, MS Flow.
• Managing Site Quotas and file size limits.
• Provide SharePoint support to end users.
• Assist users Custom Portal migrations from on Prem to Cloud.
• End-to-end support of performance within Service Level Agreements and KPIs

Qualification / Skills Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience supporting SharePoint and OneDrive for Business operations
• Strong understanding of SharePoint out of the box features
• 2+ years of Office 365 experience
• Experience in SharePoint 2010/2013 and SharePoint Online Implementation, Backup & Restoration.
• Experience in SharePoint Upgrade & Migration to cloud.
• Good working knowledge on Workflows, integration of third-party tools to SharePoint
• Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML is required
• Hands on knowledge of SQL Server 2008/2012
• 3+ years of experience customizing SharePoint sites using tools like InfoPath etc.
• 2+ years of experience using InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, Microsoft Flow, and Power Apps
• Good working knowledge on User Profiles Service and Search Service Applications.
• Good working knowledge on SharePoint App Model deployments.
• Working knowledge on O365 services like, MS Teams, OneDrive, Delve, PowerApps and MS Flow.
• Good knowledge on different types of Authentications, provisioning of Kerberos, etc.
• Basic Hands-on on IIS and SQL Administration experience
• Knowledge and Hands-on experience in PowerShell and other Microsoft tools/utilities
• Good working knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP.
• Knowledge on Password Renewal activities in SharePoint farm for Service Accounts.
• Experience of Support Intranet sites built on SharePoint 2010/2013 and SharePoint Online.
• Experience of Managing System security, system patching and upgrades.
• Experience with front-end web debugging tools (Fiddler, IE development tools)
• Experience of Deploying custom developed and third-party SP solution packages
• Experience of Configuration of SharePoint Service Applications and settings.
• Experience of Managing Site Quotas and file size limits.
• Experience of building monitoring usage reports and monitoring dashboard.
• Knowledge on O365 Hybrid Model is preferred.
• PowerShell scripting knowledge is preferred.
• Experience on troubleshooting various issues related to SharePoint and third-party tools and performance issues.
• Knowledge of Windows Server (2008/2012) administration.
• Understanding of support activities, SLA, and escalation matrix.
• Transfer knowledge and technical expertise to other team members and end users.
• Working knowledge on Load balancer issues and troubleshooting issues related to Networks.
• Strong understanding of Multi-tier Enterprise Web Applications.
• Knowledge and experience in .NET
• Knowledge and experience in Azure
Education: BE, BTech, MCA or equivalent Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (4-years) in Computer Science, Technology or related field from recognized University. Other qualifications with adequate experience may be considered.
