Proposal Analyst
Position Summary
This position, while under general supervision and as a member of the proposal response team, creates pricing and assists with gathering product process information that will ultimately be assembled into a competitive Itron Solution.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Provide baseline (boilerplate) response framework documents for subject matter experts.
2. Prepare cover letters, no bid letters, and other standard response documents from templates.
3. Support related technical writing requirements (whitepapers, product overviews, etc.).
4. Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
5. Provide draft product pricing in standard Itron template format. Become knowledgeable to the point of being capable of providing draft pricing independently for simple (non-system) products. Revise as required at the direction of the Proposals Manager or other senior response team members.
6. Apply standard (pre-approved) implementation services pricing.
7. Apply standard (pre-approved) discounts as appropriate.
8. Maintain pricing and proposal databases.
