This position is responsible for increasing sales in existing accounts within an established geographic territory, coordinating and supporting  the Sales Representatives. These are developing-level sales professionals knowledge and skill sufficient to be successful working independently.

 

  1. Support the sales Reps to call on regular customers to identify new opportunities consistent with Itron's current set of solutions and strategic direction.
  2. Display or demonstrate product using samples or catalogues and emphasize salable features.
  3. Quote prices and credit terms, prepare sales contracts for orders obtained and estimate delivery dates.
  4. Prepare reports of business transactions and keep expense accounts.
  5. Perform administrative/support tasks to help keep account activities and literature up to date.
  6. Attend trade shows, actively looking for additional or new sales opportunities.
  7. Product analysis, accessories, services, softwares, transfer costs, study of reference and historical prices, freight and guarantees, shipping for Sales manager review and approval.
  8. After review, adjustments and approval of Sales manager. Enter data on SFDC to launch approval process.
  9. To enter and follow on SFDC the contract review/approval process with Legal Area.
  10. It is carried out jointly with the preparation of the quotation and continues until the closing of the operation, being this satisfactory or not, thus leaving a historical survey for further analysis
  11. Compilation, preparation, shipment of samples. Follow-up on the customer or institute homologation process
  12. Contact with customers and Sales Reps of the region assigned via telephone, mail or in person in order to perform tasks of the position.
  13. Proceed to prepare all the technical and contractual documentation required to meet the requirements of the offer. To verify with Engineering and Finance that all technical and commercial points comply and the analysis of supply optimization is made based on historical records and current information obtained, both internal and from competition. In addition, the feasibility of manufacturing and delivery in time  working with sales operations.
  14. Forecast of sales of products, softwares and services according to their possibility of demand in time and client, working with the sales operations in order to adjust production plans according to demand, optimizing delivery times information used for internal sales forecast reports and production.
  15. Update throughout the year, detailed sales information (quantity, type and revenue of products), divided into customers, date, country and product family, etc .
  16. Analyze and interpret statistical data in order to make recommendations on potential markets and distribution systems.
  17. Information and Management on Sales Forecast and Billing of its customers/sales representatives.

Experience: This position requires 1 to 3 years of related experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Travel: 30 - 50%
